Is It Safe To Babysit When I Could Have Swine Flu?

I've been ill for a week, and I have come to the conclusion that either swine influenza or mononucleosis. There have been several reported cases in the school I go. If mono, the child should not worry because it is contagious and is transferred through saliva, mono.
My mother offered to provide my cousin today. He has 3 I wonder if I am contagious and is safe for me with him?
We have a medical mask, which can be used.
I've been sick for 6 days and the incubation period of swine influenza is 24-48 hours.

Until your fever is gone stay away from anyone and everyone. If you feel better then you should be fine to go around people.
Wash your hands frequently, and try not to drink or eat after others and this will help the spread of any germs that you might have still lingering. Always cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough as well. But if all your symptoms are gone and you do not have even a slight fever, than babysit all you want. Good Luck

don’t do it. no matter how long the period is where it’s spreadable..what if there’s some loophole somewhere and your cousin gets sick? NOT worth it. trust me. i work with kids. not to mention help with my nephews and home-school one of them.
