Is A Person With Swine Flu Likely To Die If They Don’t Visit The Hospital For Treatment?

They say the reason Mexicans are dying from it is because they don’t have the medical care that we have (USA). Which means people here are surviving only because they went to their doctor.
Also, what would they do to treat a patient with it? Just give antivirals?

It’s only a concern if the person starts to grow a cute little curly tail.

id have to say its 50/50, really, the younger will most likely die, if not treated, along with the older groups of people, but a minimum, maybe not, but, best if treated, because, you don’t really know, what could happen. but, if not treated, when you show worsening sign’s, you could die, if you don’t get treated soon, and some, could just stay sickly for a long amount of time, it really depends on who you are, and how healthy your body!

They have brought out the Stock of ‘Tamiflu’ which is a drug they stocked up on for the bird flu scare. Im from NZ and a few people were diagnosed with it. they were on the medication, Got put into isolation (At home) and they have recovered well. They are back at school. Don’t worry, its the worst thing to do. The only reason why it is worse than normal flu is because the pig is susceptible to our flu, bird flu, and it gets morphed together with their own. Then spreads to us who aren’t Susceptible to it, take herbal pills to up your immune system. I don’t think you really need to be hospitalised if you had it, it would probably be more likely to spread.

I’m pretty sure you only have like a 10% chance of dying from swine flu. You shouldn’t worry about swine flu, it’s probably gonna be on the news for a while, then will fade away, just like bird flu. Every time a new flu or virus is on the news, everyone thinks they have it, or are going to die, you don’t and you wont.

  5. James says:

no, most cases are just mild. compare it to the seasonal flu. many people get it, but about 36,000 die from it a year. so yes there are going to be extreme cases, but according to experts, it really is no worse than the seasonal flu.
ps most people have recovered without being hospitalized

No, the swine flu is just the same as normal flu. Some people will die, others won’t. To decrease the number in which people die, medical care would be needed though they would use vaccinations (which means that the dead swine fly would be easier to combat that the live one)

  7. Andy says:

the reason why people in mexico died was because they didnt even know what swine was at that point of time so they couldnt treat it fast enough. now that people are aware of swine they can treat it fast with timiflu so if you get treated fast enough you will recover

  8. anothers says:

People are dieing in mexico because it’s a dirty sick place. You can’t even drink the water and the air is like breathing in smoke 24/7.

  9. Sendy says:

i would say yes if you don’t visit the doctor you could die and im not sure what they would treat you with
