Since the swine flu story broke a couple of weeks ago, it seems the anchors on the 24-hour news networks haven’t breathed without mentioning the virus. There were minor interruptions to the coverage, like a crazy high speed semi-truck chase, but the majority of stories revolved around the outbreak

Flu is a serious disease, whether it be swine flu, bird flu or your common or garden variety that comes around every year. It’s unlikely that you can protect yourself by wearing a mask, but it could stop you sneezing on others if you have it. Flu can last on door knobs and other surfaces for up to 3 days. It can be passed by a kiss on the cheek. If you have any flu, don’t spread it around. Don’t take it out shopping or to work with you where you can infect other people.

Treatment and medication – While swine flu can generally be cured by the four antiviral drugs approved for curing flu in the US, amantadine, rimantadine, oseltamivir and zanamivir, the recent 2009 swine flu outbreak viruses have been found to be resistant to the first two drugs. Oseltamivir and zanamivir are now recommended for treatment and prevention of swine influenza.

The H1N1/swine flu virus is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A flu virus. Swine flu viruses cause high levels of illness and low death rates in pigs. Similar to human, pigs do get flu. It is widely believed that though swine flu generally do not infect human, pig to human transmission has occurred in the past and notably among persons who had direct exposure to pigs carrying the virus at the time.

Within weeks many reports of health ailments ranging from severe headaches to heart attacks to the acquiring of the rare Guillain-Barre syndrome were reported. By December 16, 1976, the reports were so scandalous, the usually intransigent and self-righteous U.S. government was forced to suspend the mass inoculation plan having inoculated approximately 40 million people for a flu that never came.

H1N1 (swine flu) Facts, and a Prevention Manual ?

Are you worried about or going through the H1N1 flu? One of the most important things to do is wash your hands frequently.  If you deal with people on a daily basis or handle money you need to have some hand sanitizer. It does not hurt to have a healthy body but from the news today people who are healthy are getting sick. So not having a healthy body, such as being over weight increases your chances of getting the H1N1 flu.

Do you have a H1n1 (swine flu) prevention manual?

The H1N1 is a mixture or influenza viruses found in pigs, that`s where the swine flu  name comes from.  The pigs will pick up the human, avian, and swine viruses. They all get mixed up in the pigs body and the next thing you know a new flu is born, H1N1 virus.

One easy way  not to get the H1N1 flu is stay away from pigs! You never know if they are infected or not. If you go to the fair and like to go to the stock yard exhibit, stay away from the pig or hog section.

A H1N1 flu prevention manual would be nice to have right about now! Especially if you do not have health insurance or enough money to cover the cost of the vaccination shot or spray. Find out where to get yours below

If you cook pork you must make sure the inside temperature of the meat is 160 degrees, this will kill the bacteria and viruses that may be in the meat. All the meat you cook should be at least 160 degrees.

You should use extra precaution if you are pregnant, have diabetes, heart disease, asthma, emphysema or if you are obeist because you are even more at risk of contracting the flu and the H1N1 flu. Even though people with healthy bodies are getting the H1N1 flu it can help the body fending off the flu.

As you have probably have heard, when you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth with a tissue, arm, or hand. If you use your hands wash them immediately after wards and if you use tissue make sure you dispose of it properly, just don`t leave it laying around. You may want to use a mask to cover your nose and mouth if there are other people in your household. Try and stay at home if you do have the flu, if you have to travel out use your mask.

You need to go to the doctor if you think you have the H1N1 flu to get a prescription to get rid of it. (if you have insurance!) Be careful if you have children or teenagers and DO NOT give them aspirin! This can cause Rye`s Syndrome and they can die from it.

Your local news will or should keep you updated on the H1N1 flu, it seems like everyday something new comes up. Like I said before a H1N1 virus prevention manual would be good to have, if everyone had one at the beginning of all this, it may have not become such of a epidemic.

I do have H1N1 (swine flu) prevention manual and you can find out more about it on my website.

Surgical Healthcare Solutions Suppliers Of Hand Sanitizer For Swine Flu Prevention

Why Should I Use Q Shield™ instead of an Alcohol Hand Gel?

Q Shield™ Antimicrobial hand protection

Alcohol hand gels are very effective at what they do, however they only kill microorganisms when they are applied.

As soon as they dry bacteria are able to live on your skin once again.

Q Shield™ not only kills bacteria present on the hands at the time of application but will continue to kill microorganisms which you subsequently pick up.

We have all used a public toilet and watched other people walk from the cubicle straight out the door without washing their hands.  Q Shield gives 24 hour protection against microbes.  So it does not matter how many people you shake hands with, railings you hold onto or toilet doors you have to open.  Any bacteria picked up on your hands will very quickly die.

In addition Alcohol Hand Gels often have a drying effect on the skin.  Q Shield™ because of the low alcohol content of Q Shield™ it doesn’t have this drying effect, meaning hands feel supple and smooth.
